The ABSA Building was acquired in 2004 at an initial yield of 12.7%. It is Cape Town's tallest and most iconic building and a sister of the infamous Seagram Building on Park Avenue New York. It was built and designed in 1968 by the world renowned architect German Ludwig Miles van der Rohe and American Philip Johnson. Today it is regarded as a landmark for its historical and architectural legacy..

The ABSA Building boasts the largest windows in the city, thanks to almost three quarters of the facade being built from glass providing offices and entertainment venues. It boasts breath-taking panoramic views of the Mother City, Table Mountain and Table Bay by way of its soaring 34 floors.

The building is 37 stories tall in total and commands a GLA of 30,620m2.

The Sunclare Building was acquired in June 2005 at an initial yield of 10.5%. The property has doubled in value since acquisition. Refurbishment works have commenced in all common areas including new treatment to the outdoor balconies and new landscaping throughout.

No 37 was purchased in June 2005 and has been leased out to the ESB until recently.

A complete refurbishment of the property is planned to restore the building to its original Georgian standard incorporating a more modern application to the interior design of white marble toilets, contemporary kitchens with black velvet carpeting throughout and crystal chandeliers.
