John Foley

John Foley has extensive knowledge within the finance arena since 1992 and has specialized within the second tier mezzanine finance particularly in the area of structured finance. Starting in 1994, he has applied his skills in asset management and in the development of vanilla commercial office space.

Between 1991 and 2004, John operated his own finance company specializing in invoice discounting, commercial finance and the operation of a proprietary finance lending book.

He gained in-depth knowledge of current markets through his management of a €50m currency book between 2003 and 2008. Throughout his career of structuring financial transaction he has been able to incorporate tax planning as one pillar to aid the execution of complex structures.

Incorporating this expertise with his knowledge in structured finance, John established a clear minded practical approach to the finance models he proposes.
